Season 3 Finale Date Announced

The third season of "Nikita" will conclude on Friday, May 17 2013 at 8/7c with its 22th episode and overall 67th episode! A renewal or cancellation (let's hope for the first option) has still to be made. The CW will announce its schedule for the 2013/14 network season on May 16, 2013. We will know then (maybe even earlier).

DIVISION HEADS TO PARIS When Nikita (Maggie Q) decides Division should take on a government mission to eliminate the President of Chad (guest star Jonathan Adams) while he’s in Paris, Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) takes a stand and refuses to participate. Upset that Nikita is keeping secrets from everyone, much like Percy did, Alex recruits Birkoff (Aaron Stanford) to dig up secrets on Danforth (guest star Richard T. Jones) to use as leverage in case things get messy with the government. Alex and Birkhoff are shocked when they come across a secret so big it could blow up Division – literally. Shane West, Noah Bean, Dillon Casey and Devon Sawa also star. Mark Baldwin directed the episode written by Kristen Reidel.

AMANDA SNARES ALEX Amanda (Melinda Clarke) holds Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) prisoner and informs Nikki (Maggie Q) she will release Alex in exchange for Ari (guest star Peter Outerbridge). Michael assigns Nikita and Sean (Dillon Casey) to handle the exchange of prisoners, but Ryan (Noah Bean) adds Owen (Devon Sawa) to the team at the last minute, which makes Michael suspicious. While in captivity, Alex befriends a fellow prisoner named Larissa (guest star Olga Fonda) and vows to break them both out of the jail, which ultimately conflicts with Nikita’s plan, forcing Alex to choose between Nikita and her promise to Larissa. NIKITA AND AMANDA ARE CAPTURED — In order to gain control of the black box, Amanda (Melinda Clarke) makes plans to abduct Ari’s (guest star Peter Outerbridge) son Stefan (guest star Dylan Minnette) to use him as leverage. Still in Division’s protective custody, Ari begs Nikita (Maggie Q) for help. However, Stefan’s bodyguard Krieg (guest star Andrew Divoff) manages to capture both Nikita and Amanda and the two must work together to escape. Owen (Devon Sawa) is furious with Michael (Shane West) after Michael assigns Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) to be Nikita’s back-up instead of him. Aaron Stanford also stars. Jon Cassar directed the episode written by Terry Matalas & Travis Fickett.

ARI ENLISTS HELP FROM DIVISION After Birkhoff receives a tip from Shadowbot that Ari is in New York, Nikita and Owen pounce to pick him up before the FBI can get to him. However, Ari reveals he planned everything for a chance to talk to Nikki. He tells her that Amanda has gone too far and is working with a terrorist who plans an attack on American soil. Ari wants fifty million dollars for the intel that could lead to the terrorist’s capture. Nikki and Michael are stunned when Ryan considers paying the bribe. Meanwhile, Sean is jealous of Alex and Owen’s relationship. Eagle Egilsson directed the episode written by Carlos Coto.

AMANDA FRAMES SEAN FOR MURDER A CIA agent named Naomi (guest star Amanda Schull) discovers a file detailing Madeline Pierce’s involvement with Division and turns it over to the Director of the CIA, Morgan Kendrick (guest star Brian Howe). When Kendrick is killed shortly thereafter, Amanda (Melinda Clarke) frames Sean (Dillon Casey) for the assassination and the CIA takes him into custody. Nikita (Maggie Q) promises Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) they will free Sean and comes up with a plan that could either save him or cost him his life. David Grossman directed the episode written by Mary Trahan.
